I bought the CAP Barbell 60 lb single black hex dumbbell expecting the usual quality. The cast iron finish is solid, and the black paint looks good, but it's prone to chipping if you clang the weights together. The hex shape is standard and works well. However, at $210 for a single 60 lb dumbbell, it feels overpriced—you can often find pairs for less. The handle has a decent diameter, but the texture is smooth, so grip can be an issue without chalk. If you need one heavy dumbbell, it works, but consider the cost.
