This Garvee set is perfect for starting out or for lighter workouts. The rubber coating is decent, and the hex shape keeps them in place. Having three weight pairs (5, 10, 15 lb) gives nice progression, but the 5 lb jump may be too small for some. The rust-resistant core is a plus. However, the 60 lb total might be outgrown quickly if you're building strength. The rubber can also have a strong smell initially.
